Here are the countries where we’ll ship soon the second issues of this year (21-2)

Many of the photographs used in the special photo isue of The Divine Cool Breeze have not been seen widely because of their conditions – scratches to the film negative, dust and other marks.

Special issue preview

Pictures appeal to the heart.

In the coming months there will be a special issue of The Divine Cool Breeze. It will be a photo essay – or, more correctly, a photo poem of carefully chosen, rare and seldom-seen images of Shri Mataji, mostly from many years ago.

From the eyes of our cameras, snapshots committed to film, printed and forgotten in drawers and boxes or long closed in cherished albums, there are still countless pictures of our Mother unseen.

Accompanied by sparse words, these newly restored and brightened images will welcome us to a time long ago, each in a moment that is eternally now.

A doorway opens into the night. There is a radiant warmth and glow. Shri Mataji welcomes us to Her home. It is number 56 Ashley Gardens in London. The year is about 1979. White warmth, cooling gold, divine vibrations. This must be the gate to heaven, we feel.

From Shri Mataji’s eyes and smile and welcoming words we know that we are home – at last. “Welcome it,” She says. “Accept that you are there.”

And we enter, leaving the cold night behind.

This will truly be a special issue, a special event.

We have prepared the database to be used in shipping 21-1 (the first issue of 2008).

We’ll be shipping soon to over 700 subscribers!

Cut date for 21-1

Even if we scheduled the subscriptions cut date for 21-1 to be Feb. 1st, we are “forced” to move it. The reason is that between then and today we received another 100 new subscriptions. So we’ll add as many orders as possible to the next shipment that we’ll start to prepare next Monday, Feb. 18th.

Special issue - created by readers

This year we’ll have two special issues. We are working on the first one (more about it later) and invite you to work on the second one to be included in an issue near the end of this year.

Imbibing volume 21 number 1

REMEMBER: It’s time to renew your subscription. If you have received issue 20-6, you probably won’t receive more issues of The Divine Cool Breeze unless you buy a subscription for 2008. And the best place to do that is at www.divinecoolbreeze.org.

I often wonder what it really means to “imbibe.” To take in, to digest, to make it intregal to your being, your understanding of life, instrumental to your actions, desires and beliefs. I suppose it’s all that.

That’s what we want when we read Shri Mataji’s talks: to become closer to Her, to understand what She is saying, to take it all in with a complete understanding beyond learning and intellect – like drinking a glass of pure, undiluted fruit juice, all the vitamins working through your body.

And yet, I often feel that I am only as good as the last talk I’ve heard or read. I often sense that the last page of The Divine Cool Breeze I’ve passed my eyes over is the sum total of my understanding. So much for true imbibing.

The Divine Cool Breeze – International and Indian

As you might be aware, there are two different magazines having the same name, The Divine Cool Breeze: the so-called international one and the Indian one, managed by Nirmal Infosystems (NITL). The magazines have the same aim – to bring people closer to Shri Mataji – but a different content.

Not anymore. Starting with issue 21-2, both teams will work together and produce only one magazine called, of course, The Divine Cool Breeze, having the same content and layout. The distribution will be divided between NITL for subscribers and India and in North America for the rest of the world.

All the subscribers of the international magazine who are living in India will be transferred to NITL.
